Roger Williams is one of the premier forebears in Texas electronic music and has been actively recording, producing and mastering for twenty years. As far back as 1984 he was utilizing MIDI in his work, and eventually found himself teaching electronic composition at the master’s level.

He has contributed original artistic works to Me Records, Aquatica Productions, and RocknBass Recordings in addition to producing the burgeoning talent Defuse on the Moonshine Records label. His past projects have included Void Failure, which premiered in the Zen Festival outside of Dallas.

Currently he is working on an innovative of a new form of music, aptly named Synesthesia, which means the blending of two sensory images. It combines laser animation with sound to create a hybrid effect that is enhanced by the improvised nature of his performance.

You never have the same experience twice. He can be found these days at his studio in San Marcos, surrounded by wall-to-wall synthesizers, and developing new local talents, like the artist Ejanesa.

His body of work, spanning two decades, demonstrates the breadth and depth of his artistic ability with stunning clarity. Williams is an artist that will be shaping the electronic music scene for many years to come.
